This is a phenomenal antique German engraving print that is over 170 years old (1842-45).  It depicts two types of porcupines. If you can ID them, please let me know. Theleft is an old world type, though the caption in German reads that is is a "common porcupine".

The print is a small but incredibly high quality antique engraving from 1842-1845. It is a Honegger engraving (a respected printer of the time). It is hard to scan a fine engraving like this, but under a magnifying glass, you'll see amazing crisp fine engraved lines. The paper is thick and of high quality so it holds the details well. See scan for a better idea of the condition.

The print measures approx. 9.3 x 4.25 inches, and the actual image size (without margins) is approx. 8 x 3.6 inches.

This is GENUINE antique/vintage item. It is not a modern reproduction.
