BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Brand new, official studio-released DVD of this great film, imported from Australia
This is a PAL/NTSC, Region 0 DVD.
This DVD will play anywhere in the world.
This DVD (and any other DVD released anywhere in the world) will play just fine on any multi-region DVD player, bought in USA or elsewhere. It will also play on most computers' DVD drives. Some consumers actually own a multi-region DVD player, without knowing it. All you need to do if you own such Philips, Akai, CyberHome or other DVD player is to use your remote control to switch it to multi-region mode. As such features are almost always not documented by the DVD player's manufacturer, we'd recommend you check your DVD player's capabilities by searching the web for the words 'videohelp DVD Player and Blu-ray Player region codes' and choosing the very first link found.
For our USA customers, if you need an advise for a inexpensive ($30-$40) US DVD player, please feel free to contact us or to read our recommenations here: Our DVD player recommendations. Please keep in mind that we do not sell DVD players.

This DVD does not contain pornographic material and may be lawfully sold to and viewed by minors.

o Most of the DVD manufacturers don't state whether subtitles are optional or not. Therefore, when purchasing the DVD, which contains subtitles, the assumption should be that subtitles are not removable. However, you can try DVD's menu to turn off subtitles or try 'Subtitles' button on your DVD player's remote control to turn off the subtitles track. If these steps don't work, then unfortunately subtitles are not optional.

Synopsis:
It's not just a job: it's a hilarious complete series collection! Climb aboard the PT-73 and set a course for classic television comedy with McHale's Navy: The Complete Series, a 138-episode voyage of military mirth and madness. With an amazing cast, including Academy Award winner Ernest Borgnine, comic genius Tim Conway, and the indisputable brilliance of Joe Flynn, McHale's Navy was a mainstay of television viewing throughout its original network run from 1962 to 1966 and an unsinkable juggernaut in reruns for decades to come. In the Pacific Theater of WWII, veteran seaman Quinton McHale (Borgnine) is commissioned into the Navy Reserve and named skipper of the Torpedo Patrol (PT) Boat #73. Along with his crew of good-hearted swabbies who love to have fun, McHale is a constant thorn in the side of his base commander, Captain Wallace B. Binghamton (Flynn). Binghamton is forever trying to find a way to get rid of McHale and his rule-bending crew, while McHale and company are forever scheming to keep him from succeeding. It all adds up to the wackiest tour-of-duty television has ever seen! Featuring sharp writing and an indelible supporting cast, including Carl Ballantine (Mr. Saturday Night) and Gavin MacLeod (The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Love Boat), McHale's Navy is classic television at its finest and funniest.

These are the adventures of the misfit crew of PT-73 during World War II. They're one of the best fighting crews in the Navy, but break regulations when it suits them. Their commander, Lieutenant Commander McHale, is at times as roguish as his crew, but he puts his foot down when things go too far. They are assigned an Executive Officer, Ensign Parker, who is by-the-book, but too much of a klutz to command too much respect. They have a house-boy Fuji, who deserted the Japanese Navy, who wears a POW outfit, just in case he's caught, so he won't be shot at. Their nemesis is Captain Binghamton and his aide Lieutenant Carpenter. They're initially stationed in the South Pacific, but moved to Italy in the last season.
