Antique French Style Opera Glasses (circa 1880)

These are antique French Style Opera Glasses.  They have no visible maker marks but look very similar to Le Maire Opera Glasses.  The objective lenses are 28mm in diameter and their optics are good.  The frame is wrapped in leather and the barrels are brass.  The black metal focus wheel works well.  Overall the piece is in good condition with appropriate patina for its age.  Imagine all the Operas that were viewed through these opticals!  Adding these to your collection is owning a piece of Art and Entertainment history.
