Fern Plant

Size: Extra Large

Origin: native

Light : Shade loving plant. But will tolerate full sun.

Care: Full Hard to UK.

 

Poised, damp-loving, hardy. It’s leaves are light yellow-green initially, with hard fronds, becoming darker later in the year, 60–160cm long. It prefers woodland, shady hedges, stream banks and mountain ledges but tolerates full sun, dry soil and even exposed, windy positions. It also grows in heathland, moorland, in the open on hillsides and mountains and especially among rocks.


PLEASE NOTE:

We pride ourselves on recycling and reusing as much as we can so all our Plants DO NOT come in pots we use recycled potting bags so we are able to post them to you. Please Understand Fern Fronds will be cut as we cannot guarantee the fern fronds will not get damaged in transit. Your fern will be a DORMANT comb and will awaken after planting. This will not damage the plant in any way but you will have to wait until new fronds appear later in the year.
