An absolutely killer vintage robe from the 1940s! Vibrant deep red rayon jacquard with gold pattern that looks to be a sort of stylized leopard spot, or perhaps it’s amoebas? At any rate it’s GOOD. Deep shawl collar in solid red satin with matching patch pocket at chest and at each hip. Sleeves cuffed in matching solid red. Matching sash belt. Labelled Tailored to Perfection, a “British” Gown. Robe is in good condition, has some yellow toned fading at back of collar, mostly on the inside and inside of sleeve cuffs at edge. Minor seam stress at back of each arm hole, and a bit under right arm. There are a few popped stitches under right arm as well as a tiny split in fabric next to seam. Fabric is strong and wearable.

Freshly cleaned!
