Today we are pleased to offer for sale a beautiful vintage Borghese figural lamp!
This classic piece is a creation of renowned luxury lighting and decorative objects atelier of Borghese from Italy. The lamp is done in the charming Italian Provincial/French Country style. It is made of composite/plaster and depicts a farm boy joyfully carrying two wicker baskets full of colorful fruits. He stands atop a gilt and cream rocaille base. The figure is beautifully hand-painted with soft colors with pleasing patina. The lamp includes a retro cream damask silk bell fringed shade and is in working condition. Marked on the bottom with Borghese paper label.
Lamp presents well and is in good vintage condition, with minor display wear and patina commensurate with age. The figure has minor loss to painted finish and a hairline on right ankle. Shade has minor fading and a few spots. In working condition. Please review all photos before purchasing.
