**EXTREMELY RARE** SHELLEY PEONY ROSE TRIO, GAINSBOROUGH SHAPE, PATTERN 10849.
DATE 1913-1926
THIS PART SET WAS PURCHASED FOR MY GRANDMOTHER MORE THAN 70 YEARS AGO AS SHE IS AN AVID SHELLEY COLLECTOR.
SHE IS NOW DOWNSIZING AND IT HAS BEEN SAT IN THE LOFT FOR A WHILE AND NOW SURPLUS TO REQUIREMENTS.
It is a Shelley 1913-1926 Trio with pattern number 10849 decorated with a very beautiful "Peony Roses" in the decorative Gainsborough style.
The decoration on this is quite superb with the bright colours and exquisite gold gilt trim on the handle and around the rims are in excellent condition.
This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or glazing and has the distinctive Shelley ping
The size of the side plate is 17cm diameter.
The saucer is 14.5cm diameter.
The cup is 6cm tall and 9.5cm diameter
There are absolutely no cracks, chips or crazing.
REMEMBER THIS PATTERN IS VERY RARE AND HARDLY EVER SEEN ON EBAY OR ANY OTHER SITES
