1930’s Black Satin Evening Dress And Jacket,. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.

A truly wonderful evening bias cut gown and jacket in liquid black satin. In amazing condition with no tears or holes. Even the side poppers are intact. You can imagine Ginger Rogers arriving at a party in this. The jacket is trimmed in black rabbit fur but as it’s so old I think I’m allowed to sell it. For clothing that is nearly 100 years old it is remarkably stylish and relevant today. Very glamorous Old Hollywood.

The dress is a classic sleeveless bias cut with a floppy extra panel below the knee at the back to give an extra kick to the movement of the material when walking or hopefully dancing.

Measurements are flat armpit to armpit 49cm, waist 50cm, length from shoulder 144cm. As it’s cut on the bias there will be some give in the body measurements.

This is a find for the vintage clothing fanatic or collector. I will lightly steam it before sending, but I suggest it is steamed again before wearing as it come up beautifully

Please check your measurements first as it says Uk 10-12 in the specs but actually there was no sizes like this in those days so I’m guessing.
