The Zhiyun-Tech CRANE 3S Handheld Stabilizer.is a powerful redesign of previous Zhiyun gimbals with the addition of detachable handle options, more powerful motors with a large 7 kg payload, an updated axis-locking system, external power input, and the ViaTouch 2.0 remote control system. The 55° angled roll axis allows you to fit your camera without blocking the view, and it is also modular so you can add an included extension arm to fit larger cameras.

The CRANE 3S features an angled, ergonomic handle that provides two-handed operation for optimal stability. The handle enables you to seamlessly switch to underslung mode, whether with one or two hands, and achieve creative shots such as 330° roll shots as you move closer toward a subject. It also has numerous advanced features such as remote control of camera record/stop/shutter using the included cables, an improved zoom and focus system from its predecessor the CRANE 3 LAB, and compatibility with the separately available Transmount Image Transmission System for wireless video transmission. It can also accommodate a wide range of camera sizes by utilizing a separately available extension module to extend the horizontal arm.

The 3S has two options for the detachable, angled handle. Included is the SmartSling that offers an ergonomic handle with an integrated joystick and control buttons, and the optional EasySling provides a simple, comfortable handgrip without controls. All the controls you need are provided at your fingertips at the top of the main handle along with an OLED status screen. The free Zhiyun iOS/Android app provides many of the same control functions, as well as special features such as panorama, focus time-lapse, motion time-lapse, long exposure time-lapse, camera settings, and more

You can power the 3S using the three included batteries for up to 12 hours. However, if you need extra shooting time, a DC port allows you to plug in an optional battery pack such as the Transmount PowerPlus that contains six 18650 batteries, extending your shooting time to up to 18 hours. The CRANE 3S can be controlled using the updated ViaTouch 2.0 iOS or Android smartphone app via Bluetooth 5.0 for remote motion control and to manage the gimbal settings.

Nine accessory mounting threads are available around the gimbal to add a variety of Transmount or third-party accessories. Another major feature of the gimbal is a redesigned axis latch lock system consisting of a separate latch lock on each axis that provides solid locking in place without excess sway. This feature allows you to lock the individual axes to remember your balance positions when powering the gimbal off so you won't have to rebalance for each use.

Note: The CRANE 3S doesn't support many third-party 18650 batteries because it requires the slightly shorter kind made by Zhiyun-Tech, so only Zhiyun-Tech 18650 batteries are recommended.

Can I cancel or return my order/delivery?

We begin processing your order as soon as it is placed, once your order progresses it may be too late to cancel.  However, once you’ve received your order, you can return your purchase within 14 days, provided your return is in accordance with our returns policy.

Can I change my delivery address?

Once you submit your order we get to work straight away getting it ready for you, unfortunately this means we are unable to amend the delivery address once your order is submitted with us. We only ship to address indicated in the PayPal record.

What will happen if I miss the delivery?

If our couriers can find your address but you aren’t there, don’t stress, you will receive a post office card with all the information you’ll need to go down to your local post office to pick up your order at a time that suits you.
Your order will remain waiting for you at your local post office for 10 days before being sent back to our warehouse. If your order is not collected within that time, re-delivery charges will apply.

Does digiDIRECT have a returns policy?

Under Consumer Protection Law, we do not accept returns for "change of mind" or if you order incorrectly. However, damages or faults will be treated on a case-by-case basis. At digiDIRECT, we are committed to providing our customers with the best service and support.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

What if we made an error on the listing?

Whilst every effort is made to ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices that appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact, you within 36 hours we will cancel the order.

Absolutely. Warranty is 12 - 24 months (dependent upon manufacturer) back-to-base official Australian warranty (Refurbished products excepted - 6 months). We are among the few on-line suppliers with direct accounts with the Australian distributors of leading digital brands, including Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic, Olympus, Pentax just to name a few.
