Beware of Non-OEM power supplies: in many cases, OEMs use built-in chips in both the charger (within the device) and power supply to enable communication between the two. For this reason, using a non-OEM power supply will, at best, result in unreliable reporting of charge level, fast decay of the power brick itself and, at worst, serious damage to your laptop, etc.
