How to order
  • This pricing includes a simple shape to be cut such as a square, rectangle, disc, washer or plate with a couple of holes in it.
  • No more than 2 parts from each piece of plate ordered.
  • For more complicated parts please contact us for a quote and we can place a listing on eBay for you to buy from.
  • Select a piece of steel with an area larger than the part you want cutting.
  • Add order notes (and save them) for your requirements and send us a message on eBay once ordered of your exact cutting requirements.
  • If you do not specify we will send the plate the size you ordered without additional cutting.

  • Really quick, most of our cut to size steel ships within 1 working day of order (cut off time is 11am for this). 
  • Your steel will ship within 2 working days or you can have a 25% discount or cancel your order at your preference. 
  • We send all steel on a 24 hour courier or 1st class royal mail (RM 24) *1
  • Please note as this is cut to size from the metal we can not accept returns unless the piece is larger than 1000mm x 1000mm as we should be able to re-use this without scrapping it. So double check your measurements please prior to ordering to avoid any waste and upset! :)
  • Maximum size we can cut is 3000 x 1500mm. Please contact us for a custom eBay listing for parts larger than listed here or for your own complex or bulk parts.

About Lakeland Steel

In 2015 we started life in a small barn in the Lake district near Hawkshead. We had a simple CNC Plasma machine, with 1 member of staff and some spray cans.
The first product we launched was a 150mm drain cover, and the first one sold just a few hours after we first listed it on eBay which was vastly unexpected as the paint was not even dry on it by that point!

A lot has changed since then with our Factory in Millom, Cumbria and our state of the art Fiber laser machines and Powder coating setup. We have a great friendly team and we produce a variety of our own metal products.
We achieve this on our fiber laser cutters, powder coating system and of course with our own hands finishing items and packing them.
This results in the highest possible product quality as we're using the latest cutting and finishing systems, and our hand finishing touch gives us a view on our products throughout the process for quality control.

Frequently asked Questions

Q: How soon will my order arrive?
A: All orders are dispatched within 2 working days (most are shipped within 1 working day), and we ship Royal mail 1st class by default (Or a 24 hour courier if over 1Kg). While we can't guarantee the courier will deliver your item next day, this almost always is the case. If you require a guaranteed service please pick the special delivery shipping option.

Q: Do you do thicker or thinner steel?
A: Yes we do, just check our ebay shop and search there for your required thickness.

Q: Can I get test certificates for the metal you have supplied me?
A: Yes of course, just drop us a message and someone will supply you with a copy of the metal certs within a day or two.

Q: Do you have other metals in stock?
A: Yes we do. We stock mainly the following;
