This DVD will NOT play on standard DVD players in USA, Canada, Mexico, Central America, Caribbean, Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East, Chile.

This DVD (and any other DVD released anywhere in the world) will play just fine on any multi-region DVD player, bought in USA or elsewhere. It will also play on most computers' DVD drives. Some consumers actually own a multi-region DVD player, without knowing it. All you need to do if you own such Philips, Akai, CyberHome or other DVD player is to use your remote control to switch it to multi-region mode. As such features are almost always not documented by the DVD player's manufacturer, we'd recommend you check your DVD player's capabilities by searching the web for the words 'videohelp DVD Player and Blu-ray Player region codes' and choosing the very first link found.
For our USA customers, if you need an advise for a inexpensive ($30-$40) US DVD player, please feel free to contact us or to read our recommenations here: Our DVD player recommendations. Please keep in mind that we do not sell DVD players.

This DVD does not contain pornographic material and may be lawfully sold to and viewed by minors.

o Most of the DVD manufacturers don't state whether subtitles are optional or not. Unfortunately, we don't have the capacity to inspect every DVD title to determine whether subtitles can be removed or not. Therefore, when purchasing the DVD, which contains subtitles, the assumption should be that subtitles are not removable. However, you can try DVD's menu to turn off subtitles or try 'Subtitles' button on your DVD player's remote control to turn off the subtitles track. If these steps don't work, then unfortunately subtitles are not optional.

Synopsis:
A Farewell to Arms: Frederick Henry, an American serving as a volunteer ambulance driver with the Italian forces in the First World War, is wounded and falls in love with his attending nurse, the British Catherine Barkley. In the midst of war and some intrigue, the pair struggles to stay together and to survive the horrors around them. Desk Set: The mysterious man hanging about at the research department of a big TV network proves to be engineer Richard Sumner, who's been ordered to keep his real purpose secret: computerizing the office. Department head Bunny Watson, who knows everything, needs no computer to unmask Richard... The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit: Tom Rath lives in Connecticut and commutes to work every day in Manhattan. He's happily married and has a loving wife and three children. Money is a bit tight and when the opportunity arises, he applies for a public relations job with a major television network... Peyton Place: It's the pre-WWII era. Peyton Place is a small town in New England, whose leading adult citizens rule the town with their high moral standards, which they try to pass on to their offspring… Soldier of Fortune: During the 1950s an American journalist disappears in China. His wife, Jane Hoyt, arrives in Hong Kong, determined to find him. There are rumors that Louis Hoyt might be held by the Communist Chinese as spy. Jane Hoyt asks shady shipping magnate Hank Lee for his help but Hank tries to dissuade her from venturing into Red China. Desperate, Jane asks another local, Fernand Rocha, for his help and pays him money... The Young Lions: The destiny of three soldiers during World War II. The German officer Christian Diestl approves less and less of the war. Jewish-American Noah Ackerman deals with antisemitism at home and in the army while entertainer Michael Whiteacre transforms from playboy to hero.
