This listing combines our custom Dual turntable phono cable with a quality 20 gauge ground wire of the same length. If your ground wire is damaged or missing this will replace the original with no modifications. If your ground wire is intact see our other listings for just the phono cable. The rest of this description pertains to the RCA phono cable:

These custom made cables fit Dual turntables that use part number #207-301. They're about 5' [153 cm] in length with four 2.8 mm spade connectors on one end and two RCA plugs on the other. The barrels on the RCA plugs are slightly smaller in diameter than our listings that use Amazon branded plugs. This allows them to fit into recessed or closely spaced jacks (as close as 15/32 or 12mm center to center) often found on vintage amps and receivers. (See the photo of a Harman Kardon receiver from 1963 for a visual demonstration of why we offer both). The cable is very well shielded, has a capacitance of < 23 pf per foot and is quite flexible (unlike many other premium cables). The plugs have metal barrels and gold plated contacts. All connections are soldered to assure the best conductivity & physical strength and (as with all our cables) each one is individually tested before shipping.

Because these cables are thicker than the originals we include a larger cable clamp and longer screw to replace the original metal clamp. We also supply a zip-tie and grommet to replace the second strain relief on models where the cable passes through a metal base plate. The included guide sheet shows a typical installation but each model & base combination will differ slightly so it's impossible to show every contingency. It's really a simple procedure and we don't want to make the job sound more complex than it is but it's up to you to make sure these will fit your model and that you're up to the task before ordering. If you have questions please ask us before placing your order.

These will NOT fit the CS-5000 and are not for models that use cables with RCA plugs on both ends. (I.E...1009, 1010, 1015, 1016, 1019, 1209, 1212, 1214, 1216, 1218, 1219, 1228, 1229, 1249, etc).
