Bushlore’s Amber Heartwood Chips are the perfect natural tinder for fire starting, made out of premium quality Mayan fatwood, these chips contain naturally occurring pine resin from the heartwood of the tree. The chips can be lit with a ferrocerium rod, lighter, or match. Due to the high resin content contained in Fatwood, once lit the resin acts as a natural accelerant, helping to get your fire going.

Our Amber Heartwood Chips have been processed to make the resin-rich wood, lighter to carry as well as ignite easier. They come packed in a Bushlore eco-resealable bag which fits neatly in your rucksack, bug out bag or pocket.
