ALPINE IN COMPETITION / MICHEL MORELLI / ETAI EDITIONS

book in french

2002

The Alpine have distinguished themselves in all car competitions for almost forty years, winning among other prestigious victories, the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Monte-Carlo Rally, not to mention the World Rally Championship. Their main advantage was their lightness and maneuverability.

However, production has ceased, leaving a great void in the hearts of fanatics of the brand, who worship the famous production of the Dieppe plant, the berlinetta A110.

Even more surprisingly, Alpine has become the essential French reference for any motorsport enthusiast. This is why, after the Ferrari, Porsche and Mercedes albums in competition, published by ETAI in recent years, Michel Morelli, journalist and specialist photographer, wished to pay tribute to a brand that died too soon, but also to its creator, Jean Rédélé , as well as to the main technicians. Detailed texts and illustrated with many unpublished photos will satisfy the informed amateur as well as the neophyte.
