Here we have a stunning and rare provincial pair of solid silver Tongs, assay Exeter 1849.
The Hallmarks are clear and easily readable, they are in excellent condition and high quality as you would expect from William Sobey.
They do have the Letter L engraved on the bend of the tongs. 
The silver is very heavy gauge and they absolutely gleam.
