Pair Large Black Amethyst Portland Vases with Etched Iconic Classical Scene

Offered is a pair of large vintage Portland Vases
Unusual in both design and color. They are a dark almost black blue with with purple depending on light.
They have the classical etched Portland scene and the Phygian cap on base. The top and bottom rim and handles are hihglighted with gilt.
Height is 10" Handle to Handle width is 6 1/2"
Circumference is 23" at widest Point
Opening at top is 3 3/4"
Base is 5" diameter
One vase has 3/4" a by 1/2" chip on base which is not visible at all when seated
Second vase has gilt loss to top rim and handles
The pair are in good vintage condition. Some fine and light surface scratches and wear consistant
with age. Please see photos as they are key to good condition
