Royal
House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of high
back B&B Italia hand made in Italy Maxalto Imprimatur armchairs designed by
Antonio Citterio RRP £6000
These as mentioned are the high back version, you can see
them for sale here for the low back, the high back is at the bottom of the
page https://www.bebitalia.com/en/armchair-imprimatur
The chairs are in lovely used condition throughout, the upholstery is
velvet so naturally it has different grains in the light, there’s not stains or
marks to note, a little light scuffing in the fabric where your ankles go on
one chair but it’s not damage, simply the velvet being brushed one way giving
it a different shine in the light, otherwise I can see some light pulls in the
fabric on the arm fronts here and there, very small
These chairs as mentioned in the high back and with premium velvet
upholstery retail for just over £3,000 per chair

Our quest for quality in every aspect has always
ensured excellence at B&B Italia. B&B Italia products are manufactured
with top-quality materials and components that are controlled during every
processing phase. Discover the quality of our products the excellence of the
materials.
Authenticity
B&B Italia relies on its products only with high
quality materials and controls the quality during every processing phase. The
materials and technologies conceived are an integral part of the study carried
out for every product that is designed to highlight both its own identity and
customer requirements. Promoting the intrinsic quality of every product has
always ensured the excellence of B&B Italia products. Each authentic
B&B Italia and Maxalto product is supplied with an authenticity document
(Product data sheet-Guarantee) stating that the product is original and is
aligned to B&B Italia quality standards. The “Product data sheet-Guarantee”
informs the customer about materials, maintenance, warranty, manufacturer and
designer.
Quality that stands the test of time
The unique industrial production technique of B&B
Italia upholstered furniture, along with the quality of materials used,
guarantees B&B Italia clients a product that is far more durable than the
best standards in the sector. B&B Italia guarantees the frame of its padded
furniture (sofas, armchairs, chairs and beds) for 10 years from the date of
manufacture (as stated on the “Product data sheet - Guarantee”). The production
technology of “polyurethane foam mouldings,” which was introduced into the
sector by the founder of the company in 1966, revolutionized industrial
production of upholstered models, guaranteeing higher and constant quality
standards. Precisely, the process entails” sinking” a steel frame in the mould,
which is then filled with bayfitrall polyurethane by cold injection.
B&B Italia guarantees the cover, the feet, the
materials, accessories and mechanisms making up the product for 26 months from
the date of manufacture (as stated on the enclosed “Product data sheet -
Guarantee”) against any manufacturing defect including lacquering and frame of
not upholstery products.
Fabrics
B&B Italia's textile collection is the result of
in-depth research into weaves, natural and synthetic yarns which, often
produced on an exclusive-rights basis, harmoniously adorn each original B&B
Italia product to merge into any home environment. The extensive offer of the
fabric and leather collection is designed to meet the demands of an
international market. Fabrics undergo the following set of quality tests to
assess their quality and durability: resistance to abrasion, formation of
pilling, light fastness, resistance to traction, resistance to laceration and
to rubbing. To further improve performance, some of our fabrics are subjected
to finishing treatments, such as, for instance:
- stain proofing: chemical finish by
impregnating the fabric with macromolecular substances that prevent liquids
from being absorbed by fabric fibre.
- sanfor: finish aimed at stabilizing a
fabric. applied usually to fabrics meant to be washed in water.
- buffing: mechanical finish aimed at
obtaining a "peach skin" effect. the fabric surface is exposed to
abrasion to achieve a softer feel.
- fireproofing: chemical finish, by impregnation
or back-coating of the fabric with products that enhance its fire resistance.
Woods
To highlight the distinctive characteristics of the
wood and its natural quality, B&B Italia subjects wood to an open pore
finish. For finishes in light oak, black oak, or smoky oak, before applying a
clear finish, the surface is subjected to a “brushing” process that highlights
the grain in the wood. For grey coloured oak, the colour applied is designed
not to alter the original characteristics of the wood itself.
Oak used in B&B Italia’s productions is
solely ribbed american rift white oak. This material typically presents a
straight but irregular grain, sometimes with a coarse texture.
Rosewood is native of Latin America and comes
from cultivations that are controlled and managed by local governments. The
grain and chromatic reflections of this noble wood make it unique and
inimitable in the framework of wood types.
Teak, which is solely used for the outdoor collection,
is one of the most precious tropical woods for its exceptional resistance to
atmospheric agents. this special feature is based on the fact that it contains
a natural oily resin that makes it highly resistant, thus enhancing the degree
of waterproofing.
Please note all measurements are taken at the
widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please

DELIVERY OR COLLECTION
This item is available for collection from our Pulborough
warehouses RH20-1DF by appointment only, alternatively we can have it delivered
nationwide to include Scotland, Wales and Ireland for a fee
Please contact me via email, alternatively my
contact information is under the business seller section of the listing, with
your postcode for a delivery quotation, as mentioned above the fee listed
covers with the M25 for the UK, for international deliveries the amount listed
covers local Europe only so parts of Belgium and France
Please be sure to include which item you would like
to buy as the price is determined on size and distance, if you would like more
than one piece of furniture the courier offers a substantial discount on the
second and third item, for international shipping please view the below
information
COURIER, LARGE ITEMS ONLY THAT CAN’T BE POSTED
We can arrange delivery nationwide, mostly with our
nominated couriers, for Europe we use one reasonably priced professional company
that we trust, for the rest of the world we use international shippers that can
send any size item crated via air freight within 7-14 days after crating or
soft packed and container shipped via sea freight within 30-60 days. The time
frames outlined are guides only, non-domestic shipping is almost entirely
governed by the airlines, sea freight loading times and custom clearances
Whomever delivers will always require help on the
larger items to unload, the price you will be quoted will always be based on
this assumption, if this is not possible, please let us know as it will affect
the price to send a two-person team
Delivery is to the ground floor only, again if you
need help upstairs or in flats etc that's absolutely not a problem, the
couriers charge £10-£20 per flight per man per item, if you have a working
elevator then naturally there’s no additional fee
All courier fees are paid by yourself directly to
the courier company, the contract for delivery is between yourselves the client
and whichever courier you chose from those available I’m happy to accommodate
your own courier after a cleared payment has been received, they need to book
in a collection time with at least 24 hours notice, all collections must be
made within 14 working days of the close of the sale unless agreed by prior
arrangement
IMPORT DUTY
Most countries charge some kind of import duty
however almost all of our items won’t incur any charges as the items are exempt
from tax due to the age and materials used
For European deliveries the price you will be
quoted will include all clearance documentation and any customs charges so
there won’t be any additional fees
For international deliveries such as the United
States there can be some import duty to pay and or a clearance fee, I would
estimate that 99% of all deliveries clear customs without being stopped for
either
All duties are the responsibility of the purchaser
who is the importer, they can’t be covered by the seller or shipping agent or
factored in with additional retrospective discounts
RETURNS
Royal House Antiques offers a no quibble return
policy if the item is not as described, if there are any issues with the piece
you will be refunded in full once the item has been returned and inspected
within 14 days, alternatively if there is a small issue, we can discuss finding
a mutual resolution that makes all parties happy
We don’t offer a sale on approval service which
means you can purchase the item, have it delivered and if you simply don’t like
it, return it, this comes under change of mind or doesn’t fit. There is a lot
of time, money and work involved in transporting goods around the world, the
costs incurred can be vast so my advice would be if you are unsure on a piece
please ask as many questions as you like to make sure you understand everything
before you buy, if you are still unsure then please either arrange a viewing in
person or if that’s not possible then don’t buy from an online retailer,
perhaps look for a local gallery instead
