Description: - A cased George V sterling silver cream jug, sugar bowl, and sugar tongs by Levesley Brothers. The set comprises a heavy gauge twin-handled sugar bowl, and single handled cream jug, both of tapering octagonal form; with a further pair of sugar tongs by the same maker.  

The set is hallmarked with Sheffield hallmarks, 1912.

Assay: - .925 (Sterling Silver).

Period: - Early 20th Century.

Date: - 1912.

Engraving: - Unengraved.

Maker: - Levesley Brothers.

Measurement: - The sugar bowl measures 7.5cm (height) x 11.8cm (handle to handle). The cream jug measures 8.5cm (height) x 9.9cm (handle to spout). The pair of sugar tongs measure 10.6cm in length.

Weight: - 421.0 grams.

Condition: - The set is in good antique condition.  Light surface scratches, and marks commensurate with age. There are no splits, damage, or repairs. The cream jug has a very minor ding to the underside at one corner. The gilt to the interior of the sugar bowl and cream jug is mostly rubbed. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
