First edition copies of Worlds and Worlds 2, Eric Flint's two volumes (so far) collection of his best/favorite short stories from his long career. While sees himself as primarily a novelist, the stories collected in these two volumes indicate that he is just as skilled and entertaining in shorter works. Flint has a long and storied (sorry, couldn't resist) career in the Alternate History niche of science fiction but writes well outside of that form equally well.

He won a Special Achievement Award from Sidewise Awards for Alternate History and Dragon Award for Best Alternate History in 2021. He has also been nominated for Hugo and Prometheus awards. In addition to his own novels, he has co-authored novels with David Drake, Mercedes Lackey, Mike Resnick, and David Weber among others and ongoing presence at science fiction conventions. Both volumes were signed in person at Chicago area science fiction conventions at which Mr. Flint is a regular attendee.

Both books are first edition, first printing copies. Worlds is hardcover and Worlds 2 is in trade paperback format, there being no hardcover edition). Both are in Like New condition. Worlds is pristine and now protected by a clear Brodart cover. Worlds 2 does have some shelf  wear but the binding is still tight and neither volume has any marks to the exterior or interior. Ten percent of all proceeds from sales of my books goes to The Locus Science Fiction Foundation (LSFF), a registered 501c3 nonprofit foundation which is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. Its central activity is the publication of Locus, the Magazine of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Field and its website. LSFF is also responsible for the annual Locus Awards, first presented in 1971, to recognize excellence in science fiction and fantasy literature, and running a quarterly writers workshop.
