Knitting Fever Inc. (KFI) had its humble beginnings in 1974 when Sion Elalouf opened his first needlepoint and knitting store in Great Neck, New York. He was inspired by the beautiful and exotic nature of European and Japanese yarns and by the talented textile artists he met.

This is one of the heaviest skeins of yarn that we sell. Weighing in at 250g, which is nearly 9 ounces, a 2nd cone nearly doubles the shipping cost (so no savings to share with you). Add a 3rd cone, and the shipping cost does not go up any further. The 4th cone spikes shipping cost again. Weird right?
