All our NEW comics are graded
NEAR MINT (nm) unread comics. This grade allows for minor imperfections.
Unfortunately, many comics arrive to us with printing faults where thousands of
copies would have been affected. If your comic arrives with printing flaws
please be aware that a replacement may not be provided due to the rest of our
batch containing the same problem.
Brand new comics have industry
accepted flaws such as corner wear, small spine tears, spin creases, corner
wear etc) we will accept returns on these items but we may not replace the
item.
Please allow 14 days before
contacting us about a missing item. The Royal Mail will not allow us to open a
missing item case before this we know it’s annoying when something is late but
just wait a little longer, we are sure it will show up shortly.
Any international orders should
be paid for in one go to avoid being charged twice for shipping.

Images and delayed release dates
Please note that distributors and publishers give us cover images well in
advance of release and sometimes, the actual cover will vary from the image in
our listing. We note that ‘The image be not be the final cover art’ on every
applicable listing. Be aware that sometimes a publisher will change a stated
release date after we have listed an item meaning that that item will ship to
you within 1 working day of the new release date.
Pre-Orders:
Please
carefully check the release date in the listing. We normally list items in our eBay store the Saturday prior to their
Wednesday release, although, this can vary and occasionally we list items up to
2 months prior to release. These items will have the release date clearly
stated on the item’s image. Please
order these items separately from other items – failure to do this could slow
down the rest of your order, meaning that in-stock items may not ship to you
until all pre-order items are in stock.
Damages:
If your comic has arrive damaged
in transit please contact us and we will attempt to replace all the damaged
comics. If we can’t replace the items we will refund you.
If you receive a damaged comic
which you believe is not due to transit please send us a message or call us on
020-8446 3464. We would ask that you attach images of the damages to ensure
that if we are replacing the item we do not send the same type of damage e.g.
slight spine creases. If you are unhappy with the condition of your comic and
we cannot offer you a replacement due to the batch all being the same we will
ask you to return the item and would suggest that you visit your local comic
shop to find the best Near Mint copy.
Postage:
We always dispatch within 1
working day of items already in stock or of an item’s release date
eBay’s estimated delivery date
is a general idea on the time you SHOULD receive the item. We work our hardest
to make sure items leave our Warehouse the same day and sometimes feel just as
disappointed as you do when they do not arrive quickly. The Royal Mail ask you to allow 14 days before contacting
us as we can not contact
them regarding missing items of late delivery until this time is up.
We us Royal Mail’s Track and Trace system which allows us to see
when your item has been delivered, if you have not received your item 14 days
after dispatch then please message or call us on 020-8446 3464 and we will
provide you with the tracking number and we will also check to see if there has
been any update on your order.
Returns:
We offer FREE returns and are pretty flexible for your reasons of returning an item.
All we ask is that you provide us with a note inside to explain your reason for
retuning the item, plus your name!
Please note we will not accept returns after 30 days or purchase, we also will not accept
returns on items which do not
have the original packing e.g. Bag and Board. We also will not accept returns on items which have clearly
been read and used. If you are returning a damaged item we will ask to seem
images of the item before accepting it and refunding you.
In the event of returning an
item after contacting us you will be asked if you would like a refund or a
replacement. If you ask for a refund, this will only be done once the item has
arrived back to our FREEPOST address (no postage required). Which you
can find on your packing slip. A replacement issue usually will be sent out the
same day if not the next day via first class post!
Incorrect
items in delivery:
Here at Comic Biz we have
provided specialist training for all our staff. That being said, due to the
high volume of orders picks and packed in a day we are aware that mistakes can
be made. We will work as quickly as possible to correct any mistakes made in
your order but there are a few things you could do to help us increase this.
Please let us know the hand written initials on the packing slip or if you
can’t read them send us a picture of your packing slip. This will help us in
preventing the same issue occurring by providing further training for staff.
The best and fastest way for you
to deal with this is to message or call us about the order rather than opening
an eBay Request which slows down the whole process.
