Antique Morimura Noritake footed nut bowl marked Hand painted Nippon with a wreath around the letter M. This backstamp dates the piece between 1911 and 1921.
The bowl has a beautiful hand painted sunset scene in oranges, yellows, and greens. The rim is scalloped.
There is one small chip on the rim, which can be seen in the pictures.
5 1/2 inches in diameter, 1 3/4 inches tall, and 5 ounces in weight.
