A marvelous find~ circa 1950's op art type abstract design. Fabulous textile in orange and gray on a black ground. A bit of sun shining in so the shadows are sunlight, not fade to the fabric.
Somewhat satiny but lightweight, similar to a lining type satin. I imagine intended for clothing. A blended type fiber, probably synthetic. Largish in scale.
A wonderful example of the mod mid century modern movement in textile design.
