D1 Grand Prix / D1GP (All Japanese professional drift Championship) is the motor sports for the purpose of "drift", held from 2001. The big difference from typical motor sport to compete the speed, is that they compete point of the powerful and artistry in the drifting by high performance car. The contested in the series 6-8 races per year also held in overseas.
This is the car based on Nissan Silvia S14. PACIFIC RACING TEAM participated in the D1 Grand Prix of the 2015 season with M. Murayama and "NAC Girls & Panzer S14 with FALKEN".
The team began to participating in SUPER GT from 2010, and from 2014 participate in the D1 Grand Prix.
Girls & Panzer
Girls & Panzer is the Japanese big hit animation television series from 2012. It depicts the competition between girls' high schools practicing tank warfare as a sport "Sensha-do / The way of tank spirit".
NISSAN Silvia S14
Nissan Silvia is the 2 door middle class sporty coupe produced since 1965. All its model has FR drive layout with 1.6 L to 2.0 L engine, and some of them are high powered by turbo charged. Silvia was used in motor sports based car Rally and GT car. Sylvia was also used for unofficial sports diving such as Drift Run in public Toge (mountain) road among young people.
This S14 is the 6th generation model, as the successor of big hit model S13 produced in 1993 to 1998. S14 was increased of the body size by market trends. But it is not makes S14 sales well. SR20DET straight 4 2.0 L engine with turbo charged performed 220 PS.
