Pinus sylvestris is a species of pine that is native to Eurasia. The pine tree pollen comes from the male cones or catkins. Many parts of the pine tree are edible or have an herbal component. Pine Pollen contains hundreds of vitamins, minerals and enzymes that nourish the body at a fundamental level. Pinus sylvestris is an evergreen coniferous tree growing up to 35 m in height and 1 m trunk diameter. The bark is thick, scaly dark grey-brown on the lower trunk, and thin, flaky and orange on the upper trunk and branches.
