VTG 40S FLORAL QUILTED HOUSE COAT ROBE DRESSING GOWN SM

Spectacular vintage 1940's house coat robe/ dressing gown
I can see this worn with wide leg pants
quilted fabric
colors are those neat washed out colors of the 40s
washed out red, blue & green on a washed out yellow colored background
more of a empire waist style
3/4 sleeve length with turn up cuffs
attached sash belt
waist darts in front
gathered in the back at the center waist over the 2" set in waist band
pretty rose corsage with black velvet stem, corsage is sewn on
gathered across the shoulder seams
robe is in really fantastic condition, the pale blue lining has some overall fade mainly at the back of the neck and sleeve 
some of the quilting stitches have come loose, not much, just a couple 
hem line dips down a bit in the front, a little dingy from storage
all in all still a wonderful vintage 1940's item, 
best for a small frame
