Jotul, Jøtul 600, Black standard side heat shield. All later 600 model small box stoves had the correct precut thread in the base to accept this exterior side heat shield. The earlier ones need the hole drilled and tapped.

The heat shield can be used when the stove needs to be positioned close to a wall or closer than spec. to any object.
