I was so attracted to this early silhouette due to the presence of a doll, which is rarely seen on this type of work! This amazing piece measures from about 1830, is so special.

It measures about 12” x 10.” There is some foxing to the paper but no rips or tears. The burl wood is on good condition for the age. There are a few small losses to the veneer on the frame sides at the back (not very noticeable). Early glass with bubbles in the frame.

The composition of this work is so charming. One-of-a-kind and fabulous!
