Marilyn Monroe The Prince And The Showgirl 1957 Original Lobby Card #6 Richard  Avedon
  • 11" x 14" inches (approx. 28 x 36 cm)

  • Very good condition

  • Front shows some wear.
  • Two tape stains, one on left and one on right centre edges. Small pin holes near each top corners and one centre bottom edge (can be seen clearer on photos of back). Corners slightly "bumped".
  • Colours are very good, very little (if any) fading.
  • Slight yellowing with age.
  • Back of card quite clean, some subtle "smudging", pin holes as mentioned above. Subtle stamp imprint near bottom left corner. Some yellowing with age.

  • Please see photos with zoom for clarity of above mentioned.

  • This is an original lobby card issued at time of movie release (1957), not a reproduction.

  • This is a much sought after lobby card from the movie production for the newly formed Marilyn Monroe Productions filmed in England at Pinewood Studios.
  • Of the eight lobby cards for this movie, three images have nothing to do with the movie (apparently Warner Brothers were concerned about pitching a period film to American audiences). This is one of these lobby cards.
  • This gorgeous photo of Marilyn Monroe (looking very contemporary circa 1957) was taken by the renowned photographer Richard Avedon.

  • This lobby card is apparently the most requested lobby card from all of Marilyn Monroe's movies.
