1924 large clear glass cracker jar with a ribbed panel design and a zippered rim. Made by Hoosier Glass.

The bottom of the piece is impressed with 'Patent Applied for 1924'.

There are bubbles in the glass and a faint green tint. The last picture shows what it looks like under a black light, and you can see the base has a green glow to it due to uranium content in the glass.

There are some scratches on the sides from use over time. No chips or cracks. There is some roughness on the inner rim, possibly from where the lid attached to the piece originally. This does not come with a lid.

7 3/8 inches tall, 7 1/2 inches in diameter, and 4 1/2 inches diameter at the opening. 2 pounds 12 ounces in weight.

Before I researched this, I thought it was a fancy fish bowl. I'm glad I didn't decide to use it for that!
