This Ty ape is in excellent condition from my personal collection. The fur is clean, fluffy and long, not matted up like some old ones. It has been stored in a pet and smoke free environment. The tags are both still on the ape. The hang tag does have some wear including a crease, inside is not written on, but it is amazing it is still intact after 34 years as most of these were cut off and give to a child and only later became a collector’s item. Large plastic hang tag to further protect it from wear. All stitching on paws and feet are all intact as well as all face stitchings. This is a very nice Ty Jake. I collected all versions of every single Jake and have decided to part with some of them. Handmade in Korea for Ty. Not many of these were made as it is in the days of handmade items. Many different versions of Jake ape were produced, but they were not mass produced since they were all handmade.
