Maroon heavy cotton twill athletic (likely baseball) pants with gold trim. Empire brand metal zipper and internal button at the top. Side seam hip pockets. (There are a couple of pictures that make the pants look purple- these were just for up close). Color is a maroon/plum color. Tag is an early Empire- reads “EMPIRE- the emblem of satisfaction- NYC”

Condition: generalized fading but no distinct stains. elastic in cuff in good condition. A few missing stitches around waistband (see pictures) and some fraying inside on the waistband lining. No holes. Stored in nonsmoking home.
