Absolutely charming antique French cotton. A gorgeous ribbons and roses floral garland design. Circa1900.

Beautiful palette on a soft cream ground. The cream ground is deeper than my camera captured. The hues have softened over time somewhat.

This is a very fine quality French cotton. Not overly dense, intended for interiors but light weight cotton. Smooth light weight cotton. Quilting or blouse type weight.

The scale is mid to somewhat larger with smaller elements.

Appears overall very nice for it's age. I’ve not laundered this so will have a hint of subtle patina which is lovely on this but may wash if preferred. The very outer edge has a bit of fade/hue softening.

A remnant piece.

A beautiful textile for authentic period projects; home pieces, pillows, lamps, period clothing, larger scale dolls, patchwork, covered boxes etc..
