At first glance you might assume that the Adam Black OM-RB Acoustic Guitar has been painted in rainbow colours, but the truth is much more intricate and technologically advanced. Ultra-thin layers of coloured wood are glued together side-by-side, resulting in a much better finish than would be achieved with paint. Tonally, this really is a quality acoustic guitar, with performance to rival - or even better - a laminate-bodied acoustic guitar of the same price.
The Okoume neck transfers rich resonance from the strings into the body, while hard Purpleheart wood is used on both the fretboard and bridge, further enhancing the guitar’s tone. The 25.5” scale length is standard for a full-size acoustic guitar, as is the 44mm nut width. Ergonomically, the OM body is very comfortable to play seated, thanks to the pinched body waist.
