A gorgeous antique/vintage French roses floral pillow cover. Darling handmade with a zipper in the back.
Most likely a cotton with a bit of rayon. Has the look of a polished cotton or chintz but isn't. Soft smooth textile. Lovely feel. Very charming cottage or cottage core piece.
A bit tough to date. The fabric reminds me of cotton rayons from the 20's-40's but based on the zipper, could be 1940's/50's or so?
Measures 24" x 24" plus the ruffle.
Appears in very nice condition for it's age. Just needs an insert.
