Today we're offering a beautiful, vintage, silver plate brides basket.

We are not sure of the maker. We originally listed this as being made by "Bryce Brothers" of Pennsylvania 1893-1967, however, a kind reader suggests that it may have been made by "Bagley" instead, in the UK, circa 1930-50.

The basket consists of  scrolling leaves and vines and is silver plate. It's so dainty looking. There are tiny ball feet and a handle. The bowl is 10" long, 5 1/2" wide, and 4 1/2" high. It's very thick - 1/2"and very heavy! The bowl is clear glass but has a slightly aqua color with tiny bubbles. The rim has a deep saw-tooth edge with ribbed sides and a starburst in the bottom. The overall the piece is 9" tall, 10 1/2" long by 7" wide.

It's in very good condition with only minor plate loss and no chips we can find. Please email us with any questions you may have.
