Inside you'll find a picture of Alex Ross when he was 7 years old at the air and space museum in 1977 standing in front of Superman. On the next page is a crayon picture of Superman that same year and a quote that says " Here is a myth: In America, if you work hard, with enough determination and persistence, you can become anything you want."  On the next page you will find a picture of Alex Ross at age 32 surrounded by books his drafting table and Superman. One the following page is another. Myth " No matter How hard you work, no matter how Much you persist, you'll NEVER become what you want.
