DESCRIPTION

An interesting historical pamphlet published by the British-Italian Bulletin, a very scarce first edition of 1936. Being a concise guide to the Italo-Abyssinian dispute and an outline of its possible settlement during the Abyssinian crisis, an international crisis in 1935 that started with the Walwal incident during the conflict between the Kingdom of Italy and the Empire of Ethiopia.

The League of Nations ruled against Italy and voted for economic sanctions, which Italy ignored, instead quitting the League and seeking special deals with the United kingdom and France, and eventually annexing and occupying Abyssinia after the Second Italo-Ethiopian War of 1937.
