New Bochem Extra Strong 50ml Shoe Repair Glue Contact Adhesive Leather & Rubber

Description:

Professional One-component neoprene adhesive used in the footwear industry for gluing natural and synthetic leathers with rubber, tuner, styrogum and leather underparts. It is also used in leather-making and as a universal adhesive for gluing, among others leather, fabric, rubber, felt, some types of floor coverings, cork, cardboard, fiberboard between themselves and hard PVC, metals, wood and concrete.

How to Use:

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure that both surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or any contaminants. If necessary, roughen the surfaces slightly with sandpaper to improve adhesion.

2. Application: Apply a thin, even layer of the adhesive to both surfaces using a brush or spreader. Make sure to cover the entire area that needs to be bonded.

3. Drying Time: Allow the adhesive to dry for a few minutes. Generally, it takes about 5-15 minutes until the adhesive becomes tacky to the touch.

4. Bonding: Once the adhesive is tacky, carefully align the surfaces and press them together firmly. Apply consistent pressure over the entire bonded area to ensure a strong bond. Using a roller or clamp can help achieve better adhesion.

5. Curing Time: Allow the bond to cure fully before handling or using the bonded item. This might take several hours or even overnight, depending on the materials bonded.

6. Cleanup: Clean any excess adhesive from the edges if necessary.
