Vintage Large Hand Carved Horse Statue Wood Sculpture Decor Western Rearing 18”.

This life like horse would be great decor for any room. It’s pretty big and solid wood, all hand carved he measures 18” tall and just under 18” wide/long. Made in three pieces, the base, the driftwood and the horse.

It is attached by nails and can be lifted off of the driftwood and base. It is a little tricky to get it lined up to sit on the nail pegs “just right”

It is not signed but was purchased from an estate sale that said he is likely from the 1970’s and came from Italy. They suspected he was made by Helmut Diller, but I don’t have any way to confirm that.

If you love horses, he would be a great piece for your cabinet or desk. This is not a small piece so be advised when you get him he is big. He does have some scratches that could be sanded down and one leg that was previously repaired and shown in photos.
