Lot of 16 Authentic Vintage Marx Tin Litho. WWI U.S Army
Cork Gun Targets - 1930's

Up for your consideration is a nice Matching Set of 16 Authentic Vintage Marx Tin Litho. WWI U.S. Army Cork Gun Targets from the late 1920's - Early 1930's.  Targets were sold as a set back in the day with each soldier having a knock down value (points), which is noted on the bottom of each piece, allowing kids to practice their marksmanship. Shooters with the most points would be the winner of the game. As you can imagine these pcs. are commonly found shot-up and damaged by kids using them as BB-gun targets over the past 90+ years. Per our inspection each piece appears to be in very good condition. Items have no known chips, cracks, broken pcs., rust, and /or  corrosion. The lithographic coloration on most all pcs. is still bright and vibrant.  A short narrative about the soldier's role in the military is also noted on the bottom of ea. piece. Each target is appx. 3 3/4" Tall and appx. 2 1/4" Wide.  See photos for more detail regarding item condition. As mentioned the value of each piece is noted on the bottom of each soldier.
