Here at Ancestral Star we aim to ship goods out with in 1 Working day of cleared payment ,But in some cases it is sameday..All goods over £25.00 are to be signed for.
And more expensive items are sent Special Delivery or courier.
Items sent abroad are sent only by a Track and Sign service (excluding watch straps of low value) , yes this can be expensive but it is a guaranteed service and has full compensation insurance if items are lost.
Most International customers can expect thier items to arrive in 5 full working days for Europe or 7-9 working days for the rest of the world.
** Notes for International buyers- (1) We will check that the registered country for the Buyer is the same as the delivery address, So for instance if a buyer in Germany buys a item will only send to that country.If the registered Buyers country is different to the delivery Address we will also contact Paypal in case the transaction is fraudelant.This is due to recent events and we apologise if any inconvieniance is caused..

Water Resistance markings on watches are often not explained to consumers in the correct manner. Even with charts and data found in most watch guarantees ,they are often never read.
A watch bearing a 30 meter water resistance mark does not mean that the watch is suitable for swimming. Most of these tests carried out on watches are static tests, which means that the watch is not being moved in the water test / pressure test , moving a watch in water creates a lot more pressure on the watch .
Below is a chart to explain what watches you need to purchase for actual swimming and diving.
Water Resistant 3 ATM or 30 m Suitable for everyday use. Splash/rain resistant. NOT suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, snorkelling, water related work and fishing. NOT suitable for diving.
Water Resistant 5 ATM or 50 m Suitable for swimming, white water rafting, non-snorkeling water related work, and fishing. NOT suitable for diving.
Water Resistant 10 ATM or 100 m Suitable for recreational surfing, swimming, snorkeling, sailing and water sports. NOT suitable for diving.
Water Resistant 20 ATM or 200 m Suitable for professional marine activity, serious surface water sports and skin diving. Suitable for skin diving.
Diver's 100 m Minimum ISO standard (ISO 6425) for scuba diving at depths NOT suitable for saturation diving. Diver's 100 m and 150 m watches are generally old(er) watches.
Diver's 200 m or 300 m Suitable for scuba diving at depths NOT suitable for saturation diving. Typical ratings for contemporary diver's watches.
Diver's 300+ m for mixed-gas diving Suitable for saturation diving (helium enriched environment). Watches designed for mixed-gas diving will have the DIVER?S WATCH L M FOR MIXED-GAS DIVING additional marking to point this out.
Also note that Watch water resistance is not a permanent feature of any watch , seals deteriorate and watches have to be resealed when new batteries are fitted to maintain watch water resistance.
Also the operation of any watch buttons under water should be avoided as any seals will be broken under these conditions thus invalidating any guarantee you might have.
