The high heel shoes fit differently too, because wearing such a heel all the pressure falls on the the ball of the foot. So for that reason it is better to chose a tight fit so the heel is supported(not slipping) and it is not moving around as it can be risky when you have to move quickly. Also the pair is brand new, so some give is inevitable anyway.
