This listing is for one new Bixolon RBC-100 external printer buzzer.

This has a 4 inch long RJ11 cable connected to the buzzer and the other end goes into a 6-pin drawer kick (DK, CDKO) port on the back of a compatible printer.

External buzzers will not buzz, or may emit a very short buzz, unless the printer is correctly configured. Please read the configuration notes below and consult the printer's user guide / manual for specific steps. Please send us a message prior to purchasing if there are any questions.

Compatible Printers

• Bixolon - the buzzer must be triggered by the printer's "dip switches" or set in the "virtual memory switches". The steps differ by model and it will be necessary to consult the specific user's manual:

• EPSON or Star Micronics printers: the buzzer is triggered by configuring the connected point of sale software or operating system's printer drivers to send an ESC/POS "buzz" or "drawer open" command to the printer.
• Fits the Linga remote kitchen printer

This buzzer cannot be used if a cash drawer is already connected to the same printer because only one connected device can function at a time. Using a splitter will not work.
