An interceptor aircraft and Turret fighter used throughout World War II, its lack of forward firing armament meant that it was more suited to a night combat role.
The gold plated commemorative shows the engraving of the historic aircraft, the obverse features the official RAF logo in full colour above a fleet of engraved RAF aircraft.
