Today we are pleased to offer for sale a 39-piece bone china tea/coffee featuring Hammersley's elegant Lady Patricia pattern.

This beautiful pattern is crafted of creamy white English bone china and features a multicolored floral transfer pattern in deep pink, blue, yellow and white, with green leaves. The edges and handles of the pieces are trimmed with gilt accents. The undersides of pieces are marked "Bone China, Hammersley & Co., Made in England" in green. Pieces are signed "F. Howard" by the floral transfers.

In this lot, you will receive:

9 cake plates (appx. 9-3/8" in diameter, 3/4" in height) - 4 plates have hairline cracks that go through to both sides, 1 plate has some minor discoloration on one edge, 1 has a hairline crack that does not go through to the other side
2 pedestal teacups (2-1/4" in height, 4-3/4" in across top (including handles), 4" in top diameter (without handles), 1-7/8" in base diameter) - no chips or cracks noted
6 low teacups (2-3/8" in height, 4-1/2" in across top (including handles), 3-3/4" in top diameter (without handles), 1-7/8" in base diameter) - some have staining inside from tea/coffee, 2 have hairline cracks that go through to other side
2 wider teacups - 2-1/8" in height, 4-3/4" across top (including handles), 4" in top diameter (no handles), 7-1/8" in base diameter - some color loss/loss to gilding/staining; 1 has hairline crack that goes through to other side
1 large saucer - 5-3/4" in diameter, 7/8" in height - no chips or cracks noted
6 medium saucers - appx. 5-1/2" in height (some slightly less), 7/8" in height- no chips or cracks noted
4 large saucers - 5-5/8" in diameter, 1" in height - no chips or cracks noted
1 footed covered sugar bowl - appx. 4" in height (with lid), 5-1/2" in width across top, appx. 3-1/4" in depth (across top) - bowl has a hairline crack on rim and discoloration/crazing on one side of rim, lid has minor gilding loss but no damage
1 footed creamer - 3-7/8" in height, 5-3/8" in width (across top, including handle and spout), 2-1/2" in depth (across top) - possible minor loss to gilding in spots, but no chips or cracks noted
1 milk jug/tall pitcher - 5-1/2" in height, 6-1/8" in width (across top, including handle and spout), 3" in depth (across top), 2-7/8" in base diameter - possible minor loss to gilding, minor crazing present, one scuff behind handle, but no chips or cracks noted
1 toothpick holder - 2-1/4" in height, 2-1/4" in across top, 1-1/2" in base diameter - no damage noted
1 tiny bowl - 1-5/8" in height, 3-1/4" top diameter, 1-1/2" in base diameter - has two hairline cracks that go through to other side
1 tiny syrup pitcher - 2-1/4" in height, 2-7/8" in width (across top, including handle and spout), 1-3/4" in depth (across top), 1-1/2" in base diameter - no damage noted
1 tiny plate/syrup pitcher rest - 4-1/8" in diameter (across top), 7/8" in height - minor scuffs but no damage noted
1 tall pedestal teapot with lid - 7-1/2" in height (including lid), 8-3/8" in width (including handle and spout), 3-3/4" in depth (across top), 3-1/2" in base diameter - no damage has been noted
1 shorter, footed teapot with lid - 6" in height (including handle), 11" in width (including handle and spout), 3-7/8" in depth (across top) - handle of teapot had come off at some point and was repaired (before we received it), repair work is evident. Small hairline may be present at base of spout or may be from the creation of the piece. Minor discoloration at base of spout.

Set presents in very good to fair vintage condition, with some crazing and hairline cracks on certain pieces, notably, the teacups and cake plates. The short teapot has has a major repair to its handle, but no other major damage has been noted. Some loss to gilding and color commensurate with age and use can be seen throughout the set.
