Description: Hand wrought candleholder with 11 lotus leaves coming out of the center. The column where the candle sits has a diamond etched ring pattern around the top rim and will accommodate a tapered candle stick. The maker's mark, Kraftware Trademark, is imprinted on the bottom underside. Measurements: 1-3/4" tall, 4" in diameter, and the center shaft is 1-7/8 inches tall.

Circa, hammered aluminum pieces were popular in the 1940s and 1950s after WWII when there was an abundance of excess aluminum available. Artisans began using the available metal to make beautiful and memorable bowls, trays, platters, and other superior home decor items, which made great gifts for weddings, anniversaries, as hostess presents, to be used in the home, or to be kept as collectible pieces of art.
