*The "Hôtel de Crillon"  is a historic luxury hotel  in Paris which opened in 1909 in a building dating to 1758 after King Louis XV commissioned the architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel to build two neoclassical palaces in what would become the" Place de la Concorde".The hotel de Crillon

I was so named because it was bought in 1788 by one of our Provençal Crillon, François Félix des Balbes de Berton de Crillon, second Duke of Mahon, who was a deputy to the Estates-General and one of the founders of the Club des Feuillants.  His descendant François-Félix-Dorothée des Balbes de Berton, Count of Crillon,in 1815,  became a duke and was was made a peer of France. The hotel De Crillon was sold in 1907, to the "Société des Grands Magasins et des Hôtels du Louvre", to give it the fabulous destiny that we know, with its 103 rooms and 44 suites and as the venue for the famous "Bal des Débutantes"
