Offering a beautiful brown transfer rim soup bowl by W.T. Copeland & Sons, Stoke Upon Trent, c. 1882.  Made of earthenware, pattern features brown castle scenes with acorn border, back is impressed M82 (March 1882) 17 and Copland with crown, and stamped W.T. Copeland & Sons, Stoke Upon Trent

 

Measures 8 ¾” diameter x 1 ¼” high

 

In excellent antique condition free of chips, cracks or crazing, a few minor surface scratches from prior use
